I'm giving into temptation right now. I'm reading "Freedom" by Jonathan Franzen on my brand new Kobo.

1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die

When I counted up how many books I'd read from the list "1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die" I was expected a respectable number in the low hundreds. I was embarrassed when I only made it to 55. Since then, I've been chipping away at it.

I've given into temptation and read new books. I've taken breaks from reading at all - months at a time. But slowly, I am getting there.

My attempt to beat this list is the inspiration for this blog, but I hope to share my love of reading in all it's forms, not just one (admittedly biased and Western-centric) list.
